The WGAN Directory is the searchable listing of imaging and proptech photographers run by the We Get Around Network (WGAN) — the online community for virtual tour, 3D scanning, and real estate media professionals since 2014.
What is the We Get Around Network?
The We Get Around Network is an online community built specifically for the immersive-capture industry — the people who shoot Matterport tours, iGUIDE, Realsee and Giraffe360 scans, drone and aerial imagery, floor plans, LiDAR, 360° photography, and real estate video. It's a niche community for capture professionals, not a general photography group. Over the years it has grown to more than 9,500 members across 150+ countries and over 105,000 forum posts.
Who founded WGAN?
WGAN was founded by Dan Smigrod in 2014. Under Dan, the network became a hub for proptech capture pros — home to the WGAN Forum, WGAN-TV (200+ video episodes of demos, interviews, and tutorials), the Training Academy, podcasts, a marketplace, and a referral map.
Who runs WGAN today?
Tom Sparks acquired the We Get Around Network in 2026 and serves as its Publisher and Managing Editor. Tom is also the founder of Sparks Media Group, a real estate media company in Northern California. The WGAN Directory is part of his effort to give the community a modern, structured home base that hirers can search by location and capability.
How does the directory relate to the community?
The directory is the WGAN community's listing product. Any capture professional can create a free profile — solo operators and full teams alike — describing the services they offer, the gear they use, and the areas they cover. Profiles are geocoded and placed on a map so they can be found by city, country, and capability. It powers the WGAN map today and is built to feed partner surfaces over time.
How do I join?
Listing in the directory is free. Create your profile, add your services and gear, and your listing becomes discoverable once reviewed. You can also join the WGAN Forum to connect with thousands of other capture pros.
