Who we are

The WGAN Directory (the “Directory”) is operated by WGAN Holdings Inc. This policy explains what information we collect from photographers who list in the Directory, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions? Contact us at tomsparks@wegetaroundnetwork.com.

Information we collect

When you create or update a profile, we collect the information you provide, which may include:

• Identity and contact details — name, business name, email, mobile and landline numbers, and country code.
• Location and service area — address, city, state, postal code, and country (which we geocode to place you on a map).
• Professional details — services offered, gear, certifications, licensing (e.g. FAA Part 107), rates, travel radius, and availability.
• Links and media — website, social profiles, avatar, and cover images.
• Account data — your login email and authentication details.

How we use your information

• To build and display your Directory profile.
• To let the WGAN team and, where you have consented, clients and partner platforms find and contact you for work.
• To communicate with you about your listing (for example, profile reminders and account notices).
• To operate, secure, and improve the Directory.

Data sharing and your consent

Your contact details (email and phone) are private by default and are not shown on public listings. We share your profile information with third parties only where you have given consent in your profile. The sharing consent is:

• Share my profile with clients and platforms looking to hire photographers.

This consent is off unless you turn it on. When you set this choice we record the date and the version of this disclosure you agreed to. You can change or withdraw the consent at any time from your profile; withdrawal applies going forward.

We may also share information with service providers who help us run the Directory (such as hosting, email delivery, and mapping), and when required by law.

Text messages

If you opt in to text messages, we (or the WGAN team) may send appointment and marketing texts to your mobile number. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time. SMS consent is separate from the data-sharing consents above.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Your rights and choices

You can review and update your profile at any time. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and you may withdraw consent, by contacting tomsparks@wegetaroundnetwork.com. Depending on where you live (for example, the EU/UK under GDPR, or California under the CCPA/CPRA), you may have additional rights, including the right to access, delete, correct, or port your data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. We honor these requests as required by applicable law.

Data retention

We keep your profile information for as long as your listing is active and as needed to provide the Directory, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When you ask us to delete your profile, we remove it and its associated records.

International users

The Directory is operated from the United States, and your information may be processed there. Where required, we rely on your consent and appropriate safeguards to transfer and process your information across borders.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes to how we share your information, we will update the version associated with your sharing consent and, where appropriate, ask you to review your choices again.
